Hey people surfing our internet blog post! We are Momo (Monica) and Hatchi (Ashley). We both are currently in high school, in a pebL school. We are studying in CASM as of now. Momo plans on graduating in sound engineering. She loves a good thriller, but also a nice romance movie. She loves anything that has sound. Rather it be movies, music, podcast, anything media. Hatchi wants to learn Japanese and study abroad and when she gets older she wants to become a photographer. Scary and a fair amount of romance movies bore her but she loves mysterious and suspenseful movies.

Firefly- Episode 10; Ariel! (Momo's Review)

Review:
Another amazing creation of Joss Whedon! In our CATSM class, we are studying western themed movies. This show is a science weastern, and one of the only shows I would bother to sit down and watch. This episode specifically caught my attention. The sense of betrayal, love, and disappointment are shown in this episode. Honestly, Ariel is the very first episode of Firefly I have ever seen. After watching this episode, I feel the need to watch the whole first season!

Now, in this episode, Dr. Simon Tam (Sean Maher) wanted to help his sister, River Tam (Summer Glau) since she has been acting different from how she was before he saved her. In order to do so, he had to get River to the hospital to figure out what exactly was wrong with her. The whole crew of Firefly agreed to helping, only because Simon Tam told them that they could steal medicine from the hospital to make a lot of money. The plans they made seemed easy, until someone betrays the whole Firefly crew. Who would do such a thing? That's for you to find out!

Would I personally suggest this show to people? It varies. There wasn't much of the science fiction talk. It's easy to understand. There is romance, comedy, and action. If you are willing to sit down and watch a show for 45 minutes, this would be the show! I give it 4/5 stars!

Review for "The Lost Boys" (By Momo/Monica)

Review:

"You are one of us now, Michael..." The quote of the movie. It was interesting. It was funny. It deserves a good review! This movie has one of my favorite villains, Keifer Sutherland. He played the amazing co-leader vampire, David. I think he was honestly the best vampire in the movie.

So, this movie is about a family of three, who moves to Santa Carla after Lucy (Actor Dianne Weist) divorced Michael (Actor Jason Patric) and Sam's (Actor Corey Haim) father. When they move to this town, they were unaware of the "strangers" that lurked the area. The strangers that were vampires! After an encounter with the women of his dreams, Star (Actor Jami Gertz), Michael found himself falling into horrible situations.
Would I request this movie for anyone? Yes! This was a movie worth seeing. I'm sure a few dollars is a small price to pay in order to see this movie.

Fun at the Renaissance Festival! (Review by Hatchi)

The Renaissance festival that we went to was in Plantersville, Texas. It's known to as the world's largest Renaissance festival. Cool, huh? The festival started in 1974 on the location of an old mining strip.

I went to this fun feast with my blog partner, Momo(Monica), and a close friend, Chelsea. The bus ride there was not fun at all. I've never been so uncomfortable in a bus before in my life. But once we got there my friends and I were excited and couldn't wait to get inside. Once we were inside we walked around for about 20 mintues. Then Momo gets a call and it seems that some of her friends want to meet up with us so we can all hang out. So, they told us where they were, and we spent almost half an hour looking for them. It was very frustrating but we finally found them. That whole half an hour or so made us hungry, and we decided to go get some yummy funnel cake! When we finished we walked around again and come upon this ride where we get in this carriage type thing and they spin us really fast. It was fun, but the bad thing about it was that we ate funnel cake right before getting onto it, so Hatchi was kind of sick and dizzy after getting off, but soon recovered after a drink of some delicious strawberry beverage. We looked around some more and found an amazing Jewelry shop that sold various type of jewelry. My partner, Momo, and I bought some cool looking rings, that I am in fact wearing today!

If you decide to go the festival you should definitely bring a friend along. It would be way more fun! And you could have a lot of fun experiences!

Renaissance Festival -Momo

Review:

Can we say FUN!? This festival was an amazing experience. I didn't know there were so many activities that were actually interesting. Although, we had an activity we had to focus on, and I didn't like that, but it didn't bother me that much. Most of my day was spent with my fellow blog partner, Hatchi, and a good friend from school, Chelsea. The rest of my time was spent looking for a friend from school, Cornelius, a fellow blogger from "Wasians," Josh, and a duo of my pals Ryan and Caleb.

Was it worth being on the bus for 3 hours? No. I was in pain once I got home from sitting in the seats. Also, it was incredibly hot outside. But, that's something we can't change. Overall, the trip was pretty fun!

What exactly did we do on the trip? Walk. We walked so far, it's unbelievable. The place was huge, and it was impossible getting around without feeling lost! On our confusing trip around the festival, we came across a fantastic jewelry place. There, both Hatchi and myself bought rings! YAY! Also, I had the courage (unlike Hatchi) to go on this bouncy ride. It was basically a giant sling shot, except you stayed on the "rubberband" the whole time. I was shaking whenever I got off!

We also went on this spin ride, where you roll off the ground in a seat with 8 others, then they let go of the wheel, and you spin. I thought it was pretty boring, but it did get my partner, Hatchi, and my friend, Chelsea, sick! Poor girls... The food was pretty good, except for the fact that I only had a funnel cake, which I shared with my two friends I just mentioned. It was pretty good, and made me full. Then, we had a frozen strawberry drink, and it was amazing! That drink was what I was waiting for! Delicious!

Would I say that you should go to the festival? Sure! Just be noted that this festival is huge! You will be extremely tired afterwards!

Psycho! (Review by Momo!)

Review:

"I hope they are watching... they'll see. They'll see and they'll know, and they'll say, 'Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly...' " Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) plays one of the victims of the main psychopathic of the film, Norman Bates! (Actor Anthony Perkins). This film is pretty twisted, if you ask me. It is the only film I can think of that.. well that is a secret I have to keep, and a secret for you to find out!

This film is about a killer, Norman Bates, who owns a small motel on the side of the old high way. Marion Crane is just an average women who is in love with a married man. She receives the perfect opportunity to escape from her problems and have a "romantic runaway" with the man she loves, Sam Loomis (John Gavin), when she is given over $40,000! During her runaway, she gets tired and pulls into the motel that Norman owned. After.. the incident that had occurred, a mystery starts with the curiosity of Marion's lover, Sam, and Marion's sister, Lila Crane (Vera Miles).

Would I personally say that this is a good movie? I suppose you can say that. The ending was very twisted. If I were to take the place of Marion, I would have never taken the money in the beginning! I honestly can agree with my teacher when he says "this movie is the starter of the 'stabbing in the shower' scene!" Does this movie deserve a mask? No! Good job on the movie, Alfred Hitchcock.

Buffy the Vampire! (HUSH!) [Momo & Hatchi's Review]

Review

Creepy, funny, interesting. These three words wrap up exactly our opinion on this episode. "Hush" is the 10th episode of the 4th season, and the director is Joss Whedon. Joss Whedon is also known for his short film, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog (which we did a review for). This episode won the Emmy for best music and best makeup for a series.

Could we say it is a must see? YES! This episode made things extremely interesting, and Joss Whedon proved that he could make an amazing episode without dialogue. If you were to ask anyone what their favorite episode was, then "Hush" will, more then likely, be their answer.

What exactly is Buffy the Vampire? It is a series based on a girl, Buffy Summers (Actor Sarah Michelle Gellar) who slays vampires. This episode that we are reviewing on was about this group of men referred to as "The Gentlemen." These very proper men go out to take out 7 hearts from human beings. Before doing this, they take everyone's voice away, so they do not scream/make a noise. Buffy and her friends have to find out what to do before something tragic happens. While doing so, Buffy finds out a big secret about her crush, Riley (Actor Mar Blucas)!

No mask for this wonderful episode. In our opinion, this episode made us want to watch the series. Please take time to watch it!
